Wall Lake Grace Church

Welcome to the Wall Lake Grace Church website.

We are what’s called a Non-Denominational, Rightly Dividing church. What that means is, we study the entire Bible word-for-word to understand who is speaking to whom, what is being said, and when it took place, so we know how it applies to us.

We don’t interpret the bible, we read it as God presented it.

To clarify:

To the established churches, that statement is a big red flag! It means that we are not conforming to their interpretation of the Bible.

Established churches have studied the Bible for centuries and have their own interpretations of what the Bible says. There are at least hundreds of Christian Churches that have their own interpretations of each verse in the Bible! We read the written word of God without interpretation.

Invitation:

Perhaps a better way for you to learn about us is to participate in one of our Sunday sessions, in person, or watch one on YouTube.

If you watch any of our sermons on YouTube, you will see that we are very casual and we ask a lot of questions during the sermon.

Our Pastor encourages us to ask questions. He wants to make sure we understand.

He helps us understand the Bible as it is written.

He also insists that we study the Bible independently, to make sure that he is correct.

Perhaps the most unusual trait of his is that, if he doesn’t know an answer, he will tell you so and research it. You will get an answer.

We invite you to watch us on: YouTube @ Wall Lake Grace Church, or if you happen to be traveling through North West Iowa, we would be happy to meet you.

Examples of Rightly Dividing:

  • For those of you that have studied the Bible, I draw your attention to some books in the New Testament that quote Jesus’ words, and how churches of today apply them to the church age of Grace.

When Jesus was alive and teaching his apostles, gentiles (you and I) were considered dogs! How then, can his words apply to us? They were for the Jewish people.

So Rightly Dividing is taking away the assumption that his words apply to us.

Note - The rules for Rightly Dividing the words of God are;

  1. Don’t assume the premise!
  2. Who’s talking?
  3. Who are they talking to?
  4. What dispensation is taking place?
  5. Take the verse in its context.

Conclusion:

What questions do you have???

You know where to go to get the answers!!!
